The Evolution
of "Recovery"
The 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous have saved millions of
lives—not to mention relationships—and have brought millions
of people back from the brink of hopelessness and despair to
lead happy, productive lives.

I want to state emphatically that I am not proposing that the
Teachings of Abraham®, or becoming a member of this
church will replace the 12 steps of AA.  The Law of Attraction
is relentless in matching us with the vibrations we are offering.
Someone crawling into AA for the first time is nowhere near
the vibration of Self-actualization, which this church
exemplifies.

This church was born as the evolution of my “recovery.”  I
would not be where I am today without the 12 steps of AA as
a vibrational bridge.  However, the time came when I had to
leave “what it was like” behind to become the person I was
meant to be.
The Law of Attraction would not allow me to do
both.

Some people are very happy going through life as a
“recovered alcoholic.” I personally find labels of any kind are
barriers to the fullness of who I am and what I want to
accomplish in this lifetime.  When I left AA, I left many
qualified, sober alcoholics to hold the torch for those seeking
asylum from their self-loathing. Quite frankly, newcomers in
AA relate to someone with 6 months sobriety much more than
they can relate to someone with 6 years.

For me, the Church of Profitsea® is not only the evolution of
my religion; it is the evolution of the 12-step program. We are
constantly changing, growing, evolving, and expanding our
horizons.  Bill W said it:  “We realize we know only a little;
more will be revealed to you.”  And Jesus said it: “You will do
even greater things than I do.”

This church is for people who have a burning desire to be, do
and have more than they are currently allowing themselves to
be, do or have.  Don’t hold yourself back because you think
some poor drunk may not get sober if you are not in the room
when he/she arrives.  You’ve been responsible for others long
enough. Now it’s time to do something for you.
You’ve paid
your dues.
Now it’s time to start living the life you wanted to
live before you started using alcohol or drugs to numb the pain
of deprivation.

Join me as we dance down the road to our happy destiny.

Karen Steil, genius creator and founding minister of a
church that would never have gotten off the ground if I
had stayed in AA.
